Best Part Of Playing Amateur Baseball: Playing with great teammates, the atmosphere, and getting to hear all the classic one-liners made throughout the season.
Which Team is Our Biggest Rival? Sleepy Eye, it's more than just winning with them, bragging rights are also on the table every game.
Who is the slowest player on the team? This is a very touchy question. I don't want to make any enemies on the team. However, it must be answered, and it is between Matt and Loomis. I would give it to Loomis because of that face he makes when he starts trying to run really, really hard and still gets thrown out. It's like so much effort for nothing. Matt is not much faster, but has a very good running form. Sorry Loomis.
Wood Bat or Composite Bat? Wood over BBCOR composite any day, but wood and BESR composite are very close. I would give the edge to wood because it sounds better.
Day Game or Night Game? Night game hands down, the atmosphere is like no other, plus the sun can be a real jerk.
Favorite Baseball Movie: Sandlot, Major League, The Rookie are a few, can't name a favorite.
One More Thing... Many things to look forward to this season. The classic Loomis vs Matt stolen base competition, Nocky getting thrown in to pitch without warning, welcoming Pat Moriarty and the new guys to the team, and hopefully getting another wrestling match with Willie.
