Best Part Of Playing Amateur Baseball: Getting to play the game I love, on the field I love, in front of my family.

Least Favorite Ballpark to Play In: Day games in Lamberton because the silver bleachers in center field make it tough to pick up the ball and whatever ballpark we are at when we lose our last game of the year.

Most Respected Opposing Player: Dayton Larson. Guy just gets people out - consistently excellent - quietly goes about his business.

Describe Your Dream Day at the Ballpark: A home game that we win to go to the State Tournament. If I play well, even better.

What Makes Marty Most Mad? Disrespecting the game or your teammates. Can take a variety of forms. Ask Marty for details.

Number of Times During the Season Davis Will Put Nocky in to Pitch With Little or No Warmup Time: 8, but Nocky will not want to warm up for 6 of them.

Most Memorable Excuses for Missing Game or Being Late:
Anything that comes out of Jake Miesen's mouth. Usually it's because he forgot shoes, or glove, or jersey, or pants. Basically, what I've gathered over the years is that Miesen just wants to play in the buff, and this makes sense given his svelte physique.

Parting Thoughts: May 6 will be my last game as a bachelor!
