Best Part Of Playing Amateur Baseball: playing the greatest game in the world with great people, kids on the field after games

Least Favorite Ballpark to Play In: I like fields with character and personality so my least favorite are the symmetrical cookie-cutter fields with chain link fence. The Tomahawk East has probably the greatest collection of parks in the state, so I can't complain too much.

Most Respected Opposing Player: Terry Helget - for his ability to come through in the clutch and his knowledge. Once he was catching and moved the third baseman over when I came to bat. Guess where I hit the ball? Right to the third baseman! Well played, sir. Derrick Jenniges - he's the best catcher I've ever been around without a doubt. Anyone who wants to catch could do no better than to watch everything he does.

Describe Your Dream Day at the Ballpark: A sunny afternoon, about 75 degrees, a slight breeze, the smell of fresh cut grass, and the crack of the bat - heavenly :-)

What Makes Marty Most Mad? Based on what others have to say it would seem that I'm a raging lunatic at the ballpark! People who put self above team probably frustrate me most. Everyone else's responses are pretty accurate too!

Number of Times During the Season Davis Will Put Nocky in to Pitch With Little or No Warmup Time: It won't be for lack of trying on my part, but I'm gonna say four.

Most Memorable Excuses for Missing Game or Being Late: This is my 14th year playing amateur baseball and I've missed 7 games total. There are no good excuses for missing. If nine are gathered with a red S on their chest, I will be there.

Parting Thoughts: Go Tigers!
