Greatest Baseball Game of All-Time:
Greatest game I was ever at was Twins vs White Sox on August 23, 2005. I was sitting in the Home Run Porch of the Dump, I mean Dome, very excited to see The Twins crush the White Sox as usual. But as the game wore on it seemed like it was going to be Freddy Garcia's night. The Twins could muster nothing against him all night. He was pitching the best game of his career and was toiling with a no-hit bid. There were only two things that stood in his way. Johan Santana and Jacque Jones, yes Jacque (free swingin') Jones. Freddy carried his no-hitter into the eighth. That was when Jacque stepped in. With a 1-2 count to lead off the inning, Freddy finally made a mistake, he hung a curveball and Jacque made him pay. A towering shot to centerfield that ignited the crowd. I knew it the moment it left his bat. I jumped up out of my seat, I know I was the first one to jump up, nearly falling down because of the excitement. That was it, all the offense the Twins could muster against Freddy, but you know what, it was all we needed. Remember, I said that Johan was pitching. All he did was three-hit the White Sox though eight innings of shut out ball. What a game! One hit, one run, and it was enough.

Greatest Game ever played - Game 7 of the 91 World Series. Come on, throwing a ten inning complete game shutout to win the World Series should be every pitchers dream. Jack Morris should get in the HOF for just that game alone.

Favorite Bob Fink Moment: I was playing for Leavenworth at the time. I had Coach Fink down 0-2. He swung at a fastball that was over his head and grounded it to third base. He told me later that he knew I would throw that to set him up and there was no way he wanted one of his former players striking him out. It will always remind me to not fall into a strict pattern. Should have thrown my splitter.

Thoughts on Ryan Sturm Getting A Real Job: Only thing better than his job working for a baseball team would be getting paid to play. Better be some vacation time saved up for the playoffs this year.

Favorite Ballpark To Play At: Riverside Park

Should A Pitcher Ever Be Allowed To Catch A Pop-Up? Come on, what kind of question is this? That's like asking if Bert Blyleven should be in the HOF.

Describe Your Ultimate Hot Dog: Old-fashioned dog on a sesame seed bun with kraut and ketchup

Parting Thoughts: Who was the Twins' starting pitcher against the Yankees when David Wells threw his Perfect Game? Whoever can answer it gets a prize. No Cheating.
