Tigers Down the Grizzlies

Another nice crowd was on hand Sunday night to cheer on the Tigers at Riverside Park. Searles jumped out ahead plating two runs in the top of the first. Tiger hurler Isaac Fink settled in to allow just one more hit over 5 total innings of work.
Eight of the Springfield starters had at least one hit. Branden Flock was the only one without a hit, but he drew three walks.
Some big crooked numbers in the bottom of the second and fourth accounted for 13 of Springfield's 17 runs, as they rolled to a 17-3 victory in seven innings due to the ten-run rule.
NOTES: Of the 14 runs Isaac Fink has allowed on the season, just 4 have been after his first inning of the appearance. Take away those four rough first frames and he's allowed just 4 runs in 14 innings...The Tigers welcomed photographer RKPhotos to Riverside Park to get some incredible shots of the action. Stay tuned for some highlights...Henry Scheitel and Mason Rummel made their 2020 mound debuts, each working a scoreless inning and striking out two.
